Tbilisi is the place where Europe and Asia, the Orient and the European charm have historically come into contact. This is especially evident in the architecture throughout the city.
In the oldest part of the town you can see the remains of 4-5th centuries, churches from medieval centuries, the patios lined with colorful wooden balconies and stained-glass galleries, hidden away behind European facades.
