Description

Khevi province is located in north-east of Tbilisi in the Great Caucasus Mountains. Along the famous Military Highway, you can see picturesque Jinvali water reservoir and Ananuri Castle with the biggest façade carving of Georgia. Passing Gudauri ski resort, over the Cross Pass, with the highest point of 2395m, you will arrive in Stapantsimda (Kazbegi) and see one of the most spectacular summits of the world Mt. Kazbegi (5047m).

Gergeti Church (14th century) is the most photographed church located at 2170m above sea level. You can take a walk or hire a 4x4WD vehicle to reach it and enjoy the views of surrounding mountains.

Remote village Juta, cut off from the rest of the world 6 months by snow, almost deserted Truso gorge, Dariali gorge running all the way to the Russian border and Sno gorge famous for its wild flowers are all more than worth visiting for unique experiences.
